Last year after spending two years in first grade, I was excited to move back down to Kindergarten. Our Kindergarten classrooms were in a new addition which meant most of my summer was spent doing things outside of the classroom to get ready for the year since I could not get in my classroom.
One of the things that I came across was Magic Fairy Dust. As I looked online for a ready made explanation I was unable to find one. This year, I recreated it to make it fit in the bag easier. This will be a gift for my kindergarteners when they come meet me on back to school night.
I used party favor bags from Target. I added glitter to the bag and pixie sticks along with directions of what to do with the magic fairy dust. I added ribbon because it is one of my favorite things! If you are interested in printing the directions to make your own magic fairy dust, you can find them here. There is one for kindergarten and a generic one that can be used for other grade levels.
This table is ready for back to school night! It is quickly approaching. I am looking forward to meeting my class and having a magical year together!
